The Haunting of Amelia Pritchart

For two days in October, Amelia Pritchart has an unexpected visitor. The ghost a young woman who died ninety years before has decided to make her spectral presence known and demands that Amelia release her from her ghostly bonds.

If that weren't enough, Amelia is going through a rough patch in her own marriage. Faced with divorce papers, she tries her hand at easing her ghostly visitor's mind as well as finding a way to salvage her own love life.

As October 31 dawns, Amelia is surprised when both of her problems materialize before her: the ghost assumes human form and her husband in name only offers her a glimpse of the love she thought lost.

Amelia will need to race against the clock to help her spectral friend before Elizabeth vanishes into oblivion. But Amelia finds that not only was she wrong about the behavior of ghosts but also about her notions regarding marriage in general and love in particular.

Vegetarian at Midnight
